This full-day tour offers a real experience of life in Crete. It is a small-group tour
focused on traditional crafts, local food, and village culture in central Crete.
You will join a handmade olive oil soap workshop and learn how soap is made in
the traditional way. You will also visit an olive grove, see how olive oil is produced, and
enjoy an olive oil tasting.
At a local beekeeping farm, you will taste raw Cretan honey and make a natural
beeswax ointment. This is a traditional product that people in Crete have used for many
years.
The tour also includes a visit to a local raki distillery and a Cretan winery. You will
learn how tsikoudia (Cretan raki) is made and taste local wines served with small
traditional dishes.
You visit real working places. You meet local people and learn about their daily
life, work, and traditions.
The day ends with a traditional Cretan lunch in the village of Elia or Peza. You will
enjoy local dishes, local wine, and raki, served with warm Cretan hospitality.
